New Patch, Still no favor points

So I had hoped I would be able to earn favor points with this patch, but no luck.  I am earning ~100-150 per game, but so far I've just had 35 for a couple days, then it hopped to 85, I bought goggles while I had points, and now its down to 10 and not budging.  Is there any sort of work around for this, or is it just wait till the next patch?  One of my friends seems to earn them normally.  I have no idea what the difference between us is.

No idea. It works for some people (I have tons of favor) and it doesn't work for others. It's a real wtf kind of situation.

those favour points dont appear to count. to get favour points, you need to complete the achievements whilst logged into your online account. ie. kill 25 demigods in one game, finish a game, kill 1000 demigods, etc. these are the only favour points that seem to stick to your account.

for me you are correct, I only get the achievement ones. For my friends, all of the favor points count.

Apparently favor points are only being stored in pantheon and skirmish. There is some internal discussion as to whether that's the right thing or not. One group says that people were abusing custom games to rack up favor points but others say it's not intuitive and comes across as a bug.

I personally don't care at all if some guy has 10000 favor points. It doesn't affect me, he's only using 1 favor item per game anyway isn't he?

Favor points are so easy to get, racking them up or not. Reaching a goal of 2000 when its possible to get 200 from every game .. why even bother.

All I play are Pantheon games, and I've been stuck at 150 favor for the past month or so. This is a serious issue and should be addressed. It really sucks playing this game and accruing no favor no matter what you do.

Interestingly enough, if I check my entry on the website, it says I have 1775 favor points, which is about 1500 more than the game told me I had last night.  It sure would be nice to see those in-game.

 

 

P.S.  would any other starcraft characters care to contribute to this thread?
