Game crashes when im ALT TABBED

It seems like everytime a game begins to load and I happen to be alt tabbed the game will crash. Why does this happen and is there a fix to this issue?

 

Also I am not a fan of playing windowed mode.

The game doesn't handle alt-tab very wel. If it's booting up or loading a game in alt-tabbed mode it also crashes for me.

To be honest, the amount of modern PC games that handle alt-tab well is on a sharp decline.
