Couple of questions

Default Apps and making it appear under a maximized window

1.) The default e-mail app when I click the button, opens up Outlook. I use Postbox. Anyway to fix that?

2.) I figured out how to get currently running programs, quick launch stuff, and the systray at the bottom (had to create TWO different bars, which was OK).

3.) I want to always have the ability to quickly switch programs, see what is running, etc. I like the Windows way where I can see what is running. Is there a way, without turning off maxed Windows (resizing) to make the Object Bar work like Windows Bar, where it pushes the maximized windows above it?

Otherwise -- so far, so good. Just a few very minor gripes.

1) in the link (docklet properties) write C:....location of your Postbox.exe

Don't know about your 3), though. :S  Sorry I wasn't more help.

Thanks. That takes care of #1. Now, someone can hopefully help with #3. I have the workaround (resizing windows, like you have to to in OSX), but would like something a bit more cleaner (like you get with the Windows Taskbar).

The only other issue is the clock. I get the analog clock, that I can't read, because the bar has been sized down. Is there any way to get a digital readout (like with the regular Windows Bar?).

I don't think so with the generic clock.

I just now went to the Object Dock gallery here and typed in "Digital Clock" in the search bar and got 3 docklet hits.  Haven't used any of them or other ones, don't know how well they might work.  You might try poking around in there to see what you find.

Regarding #3, I think you're looking for this:

Go into the OD config window

Click on "Positioning" in the left column

Underneath "Interaction" towards the bottom of the right side, check "Keep on top"

Then, on same window towards the top, underneath "Positioning", check "Reserve edge of screen". ("Reserve edge of screen is available for some but not all "Interaction" settings, you might play with the available combinations to see if you like something better than another.)
