Problem with game

Hello I think I have what could be a big problem. When I get into my game then try to load a game the load bar gets to one-hundred percent and then it CRASHES TO THE DESKTOP!!! I don't have an idea of what to do but I need some anwers PLEASE!! I must play that game but I can't load anything that I've saved. Oh and also I downloaded that bonus pack thing,but I don't exactly know what it does. P.S. I downloaded that bonus pack AFTER it started crashing just because I thought it might help but it seems it dosn't.But I'll try it again!

If you have Stardock Central (free), download the 1.04.59 patch. I haven't seen the "corrupted savegame" issue since, and before it'd broken something like three games in a row for me.

If upgrading doesn't work, try downloading their program Smart Exception (I think that is the name). That would give StarDock alot of info to track down your problem.

Also, if the crash happens at the start of your current turn, you may try CariElfs workaround:

If anyone is getting a crash at the beginning of your turn, try deleting the events.civ0 file from your save game before loading it.
