Pantheon...won't let me play =[[

So I hate playing custom game lobbies. I pretty much stopped after my first few games, and switched to Pantheon. Last tournament I managed to get into 3 games, the first one being a good 2v2, the next two starting off with a player missing -.- For one thing, it doesn't say which player left so I actually have no clue, and when I ask in [All] chat who's there most of the time there's no response anyways. =/ But that's all whatever, since I could actually play. Then that tournament ended, and this one began.

 

Since it began, every night I have tried to play a Pantheon game. So far, I have played 0. None. My issue is first it tells me how many players are looking, bla, bla, then it connects me to a game. I click on the connection tab where it opens all the players and their connections so far. I am always connected to most/all players while some players are ALWAYS, EVERY GAME, not connected to anyone, and they end up dropping, and the players go from 6 to 5 to 3, and then the game gets closed down and I have to restart search. There has yet to be any varying result from any of my searches.

 

Could this be my fault? My connection info tab always says I'm connected very rapidly. I heard you guys did a makeover to the connection system or whatever, so could that be it? I don't think anything is wrong with my Internet connection or my ability to connect, since it always says I connect rapidly to those that can. The only people I never connect to are those who are connected to pretty much nobody at all. So is it just 100% horrible bad luck I have played 0 games so far? I am not thinking of refunding the game, or anything like that, but it is pretty aggravating that I'm not even allowed to play a Pantheon game when it's why I bought it in the first place. I really hope to be able to play soon, because I really like the Pantheon idea and want to play =/.

A few people have reported that under the last update, while they can connect to everyone else (through proxy or otherwise), nobody can connect to them. If that's what you're seeing, please give us as much details about your ISP and netowrk as possible.

It says for players that they are connected to me as well. The only people I can't connect to are people that are connected to nobody.

If you get into Pantheon, just go to score and see who has a 0 ping.

Those will be AI.

(well, you'll have a 0 ping yourself obviously....)

This happens a lot in skirmishes as well; an aggravating factor is that when you actually restart the search, odds are pretty high that you're going to get paired w/ the exact same guy(s). It used to be the norm, however since yesterday it went down to, say 1 in 3-4 games; custom games still look more reliable.

That being said, after yesterday's gaming session, it feels like there's a light glowing at the other end of the tunnel...
