have you previously had the trial version and then purchased and installed the full version over the top? if so uninstall windowblinds and use your favourite registry cleaner to remove all traces of the program from windows and then download and install impulse http://www.impulsedriven.com/  when prompted enter the email address and password you used to purchase windowblinds and use impulse to download, install and activate windowblinds. Hope this helps ;)

Turn off your anti-virus during the install.

WB is trying to write to the registry and is unable to

I have no antivirus. I had a trail for a long time ago, but I'll just think I will skip it. Thanks for your replies.

Then turn off your Windows Security Center...Windows Defender.
