I recently installed windows 7 rc 1. Now when i install objectdock and when i run object dock, my dock is hidden behind my taskbar. Object dock worked fine with windows beta. What changes do i have to make?
You may notice other posts like this on the site and basically until Windows 7 goes final, Stardock products are not guaranteed to work. Just have to wait until products are made comaptible with Windows 7 is all. I have RC1 installed also, and except for Cursor XP Plus, I have no other Stardock software installed. I will wait patiently for releases that are compatible. 
I use OD on RC 1. I run it on the top of screen, but tried it on the bottom and it works fine there too. Sorry, no answers for you.
I would say, why not try to put the taskbar on top so you can see OD at the bottom or use the dock on top.
Not sure if it's possible to drag and drop the taskbar to the top on win7 but it's worth a try (and you'll get some Mac feeling for free 
.
On Xp, you need to unlock the taskbar (rightclick on it to see the options) and drag& drop it to the top.
Other thing i would try (first) is to go in OD properties/ positioning/ spacing and alignment : and cancel the automatic positioning. Then drag the slider to the right and see if it works.

I've played a few hours with Windows 7 Build 7127 Pre-RTM (May-08-2009)...
Conclusion: this OS still contains a lot of bugs and will not be ready for serious testing (moreover for use) at least 3-6 months! So don't spend your time for it. Let's give Microsoft a possibility to finish their work.
