Senatus Populusque Romanus

I know clans are going to be a future option for Demigod. But my feeling on it is that it's not going to happen for awhile, because other issues are probably a higher priority. Because of that fact I wanted to get a headstart. SO, I was wondering if people were at all interested in getting a group together. I could get forums/ventrillo (speech...in game...zomg) going if there was enough interest.

The focus of this 'clan' would be-

-To play some clean Demigod games

-Scheduled events

-RESPECTFUL players (Asshats are not welcome)

-All skill levels are welcomed, but working together to improve play (I want things to be competitive, but not so competitive that people get alienated)

-Widening range of friends on Demigod

I'm sick of ragequitters, asshats and bad teammates. If you have any interest in this please post and let me know. It'll be about the community of players and having good/close/challenging/awesome/badass games.

I do have experience in online gaming clans. I was a GM of a high end guild in WoW (I call those the dark days) and I'm currenty in a large organization for FPS games. Some of you that play TF2, DoDS, CSS, CoD4/WaW, L4D or INS may have heard of us, Edgegamers Organization. I'm currently apart of the leadership and focus on TF2 division. I obviously enjoy gaming and since the only games I play now are pretty much TF2, L4D and Demigod I'd like to get this group together for Demigod.

I don't know about joining a Clan, but I'd be happy to join you and anyone else you can rally in some games. Would be nice to have a group play together.

My friends will also, more then likely, be down as well. (Chefdick24, Steve-a-leve). Hell, maybe we could get a 5v5 going! ;)

i set up a clan to get people togther at Xfire.com. It seems we both are looking for the same thing. the name is Brew City. Xfire seems to be a good way to get the starting resources you need for a clan. It worked great for World in Conflict.  You can either join mine or make your own and I would join. I really don't want to be a clan leader but I am tired of pick up groups. My xfire username is the same as on this forum.

Well this is going to be weird, I can tell you that much. Checked out your Xfire profile because Brew City just seemed... too familiar. And yes, I guess you are also from Milwaukee.

I'm not sure if I want to use Xfire though. I already have Steam (Main source of my videogame sortage) and Impulse. To add a third would just be.. ick.

Personally I love the guild name Brew City but... it's kind of a local thing. Don't know if it'd play well with the rest.

And Teseer, it's not like a OMG WE ARE HARDCORE clan. It's just a place where you know you'd be able to find good reliable gamers, guides for the game and just a general community.

PS- I happened to change my avatar BEFORE I saw your post kernaltim.

I really don’t care what the clan name is, and as I mentioned I don’t even want to run a clan. I just started one on xfire because it is simple with the clan web page. I don’t know all the function of impulse but I did see there is friend feature. That could work, however xfire could support a calendar, a better friends list, a forum and all the web side stuff. I don’t know much about steam, all I know is it's simular to impulse.

Your avatar rocks! Go Brew Crew!

We should have a good ping J

I currently play with a bunch of GWJ friends over vent, but it would be nice to have a plan B when none of them are online. Hit me up whenever my impulse+xfire+steamID is Dosar

Senatus Populusque Romanus - SPQR

I know it's not very original but it's sweet.

We can use xfire until we see how Impulse/Stardock create their clan pages. If they are more desirable (which I hope they are) we will just switch over. But for now Xfire is our place.

I personally am not going to keep Xfire on my computer, just going to use the site for now and work from there. Like I said before, I don't want to mess around with Steam, Impulse AND Xfire, it's just too much.

I'm currently setting up the site, so just come join.
