any way to play just dread lords with the ultimate edition?

Hey all, I recently bought the galciv 2 ultimate edition and was wondering if there is a way to play a standard game without the expansions. I know there are options to turn off ascension victory and such, but I haven't seen anything for the star destroyers tech (can't recall real name) and seeing as I haven't played the game without the expansions I don't know what stays in and what stays out. thanks in advance, sorry for the noobishness of the question

1.) Go to your C: Drive.

2.)  Open Program Files folder

3.)  Look for "Stardock Games" folder and open it.

4.)  Open the "Galactic Civilizations II: Ultimate Edition" folder

5.)  In there you should find something simply titled "GalCiv2" and its icon will be the Drengin race logo.  Double click on that and it will launch the standard Dread Lords game.

EDIT: Also, if you want to play Dark Avatar as a standalone, just open the "DarkAvatar" folder and double-click "GC2DarkAvatar."  If anything, you'll get to see the cool intro movie.
