Widget Won't Stay Put!
My Desktop Widgets will from time to time jump to top left of screen, even if I have them 'locked'!
Any explanation for this?

Have you tried nails? ![]()
Is it after you've run a game or a screensaver that has changed your resolution?
I have the same problem, only it's just clock widgets/gadgets. Clearing the cache clears it up for a little while. it's not after a game or screensaver, because I don't play games and I don't have any screensavers installed at the present. It's after I've been surfing the internet, or when I quit working for the day. In the morning, I put the clock where I want it, half way through the day, I'll minimize my web browser or the transcription platform I work on, and the clock will have migrated over to the upper left part of the monitor. If I use my cursor to move it, as soon as I click my cursor on the clock, the computer seems to think the clock is at it's original position that I had placed it, so I only have to move it a fraction of an inch for it to return where I want it.
It's not the end of the world, but it would be nice to know what's causing it.
I have the same problem, basically I refuse to use DX widgets anymore because of it. Seems like it wouldn't be too much work to remedy if someone put their mind to it.
You, too, John? YIKES! I just always assumed it was some goofy setting I have messed up on my computer, what with the fact that I've had to factory reinstall so many times, and basically it's 5 years old, a hand-me-down from my oldest son, and there was probably something he originally did to it to make it...."weird."
I think nails might damage my LCD screen....
lol
I don't run Screensavers or Games - it's random. Seems I'm not alone! ![]()
