Hi there,

Same problem for everyone, last patch broke the localization.

Someone said it will be fixed. But no delay was announced. Anyway it's not a big deal, there's not much text, and +1000 armor or+75% mana/sec is pretty easy to understand

C'est tres domage ;_; J'espere pour un "fix" :P

Ok thanks for you answers. I 'mnot worried now because I thought I was alone with this problem :)

So I will wait an update, hope it will be just couple of days (dream...)

Stardock can no longer provide localised versions. You wil need to use an old one and set the language yourself

WTF? That's bulls*** ! The strings are already written and voices recorded, how can't they put the sounds again in the game??

Quoting Kryo here:

"... you can also change it afterward by adding a line in your game.prefs file (located at My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod).

After the line that says options_overrides = { (around line 46), add the line:

    language = 'FR',

Save and start the game and it should be in French."

Well my guess is that Atari want to have something special/extra when they sell it in Europe. So the strings are updated, but you can not choose it at installation

I'll try to check after work and see how they game calls the different language sound files.

From what I can tell, it checks to see if you have the localized Voice Overs of your set language. If you do, it sets the Audio Language to your language. If not, then it sets it to the US version. Going to try uninstalling and re-installing into German since I can't do much testing without a foreign game install.

EDIT:

Ahh, only the English and Russian versions available now, I see. Going to try out the Russian one, though I haven't a clue if they have voice-overs.

I downloaded my version, and although I live in the US, I would really like to set it in french TT.

No luck with the Russian version >_<

Good news but for the legal version, nothing new?
