Objectdock question

I was wondering if it is possible to have exceptions to the option to bring up a running window if you click the button. For 95% of the buttons i want it to bring up the running application if there is one but for a couple I actually want it to open a new copy of the app. Was hoping this was possible it is something I was used to with my old dock.

if i understand correctly this may be the solution, open objectdock settings and then click the miscelleneous options button, then make sure the very top option is unchecked. This option is when shortcut is run, if program is already running bring it to the foreground only. Having this unchecked i am assuming would enable you to open a new copy of the program you want.

hope this helps. :)

Thanks but that is not what I am looking for. I actually DO want MOST of my windows to work this way (where clicking an icon on an already running process brings up that running process) but there are a few icons when I click on them I want to start a new process. Most notably my link to dameware which i use to connect to multiple machines remotely at work so I have 4 or 5 copies going usually.

It is one way or the other, can't set per app/shortcut.

Ah thanks that sucks. The bar I am thinking of moving from lets you do that but then it doesn't have some of the cool features OD does..
