Fences Snaps new Desktop Icons to Top-Left Corner

I'm using Fences and another program named "Desk Drive". Desk Drive displays an icon on my desktop whenever I plug in a USB drive. It has the option of remembering the last location of the icon and restores it to that position. However, with Fences running the icon is immediately moved to the upper-left corner of the desktop. With Fences disabled the icon goes to the right place. Any ideas on what it going on?

it does the same thing with newly installed programs. i think they should allow the option to make any one fence a default for new icon placement. this would solve your issue and mine, as i test a lot of software configurations against different hardware when i build computers at my shop. i have been telling my customers about fences, and they have all really loved it. but a lot of my customers are stupid and install everything they see on the internet and they don't delete the downloaded files they installed from and they clutter up their desktops and call me and say, "I thought this Fences was supposed to keep my desktop organized. Can you come over and clean it back up?" now of course, i'm charging for the service call, but it would be much better with a default dump fence for newly appearing icons to go to.
