Why is it that every time I see doubledigit in a thread, I also see rampant name calling?

What is this, the WoW forums?

I think GPG an SD have made a lot of mistakes in publishing these game

1. EURO-RELEASE 1 MONTH AFTER US-RELEASE ??!! so there are a lot of europeans who dont want to wait and choose pirating this game.

2. WHY IS THERE NO MULTIPLAYER DEMO ?? a simple demo with 1 playable map and 2 demigods (assasin+general) would give a small look into the great multiplayer experience (for interested gamers).....and because its great...they want MORE !

but without these demo many gamers choose to use the pirat version to get a "first look" and because the singleplayer sucks, they'll loose their interest in the game und wont buy it ....

1. Atari is responsible for the Euro/Australia release. If you take issue with their release dates, you should contact them about it. As always though, the Impulse download version is available worldwide starting at the NA release date.

2. We traditionally do demos post-release so that all the developers' time pre-release and immediately after can be spent on those people who have already bought the game. Then it will also be better polished to persuade those who need a demo when we do one.

End of DemiCom's quote

So far I bet stardock is at least a little lucky that the release date of the EU Version of Demigod is later (and the players in EU will be too...) because Stardock and SPG have now a little time to fix those damn connectivity problems, that I and most other EU players WILL (or have like me) definitly get if they don't fix it. I mean, even opening ports isn't working  - and thats not something your everyday user can do. Also most EU players still prefer retail instead of a digital download (that's anyone's guess). If Stardock and SPG don't fix the multiplayer issues until EU release, then a game with great potential is totally screwed up.
