how do you start off?

as tb i buy 1 hp mana and teleport scroll, and get swift anklet as my favor item.

started this because i dont see many people discussing the finer points of playing, everyones going off on there own tangent in playing style, its good, except there no real consensus on whats good.

I like to get the cheapo Armor and the Cheapo helmet with Sedna at start which is just under 1k total. Has been working great for me.

For favor item, well on that, for now, because I'm still having the favor bug issue, I always have to get the same item. (the +health/+health regen/-death penalty item.

With this setup it's usually a long time before I ever NEED to go back to heal/buy.
