Just want to make sure of something......

I managed to play 4 or 5 games online last night by just clicking online then skimish.  I think I have picked up the game pretty fast as I play dota frequently, I found that in each game I cained the other team severely.  Kill wise I was around 15 - 19 with only 1 or no deaths.

Now, I've heard heaps of people having connection issues and I'm wondering if I am doing so well because of them dropping out and the AI taking over?  Or is the skimish part full of newbies?  or what?  I did notice in one of my games that i got a double smite or whatever before i hit level 2.

Please tell me I am playing AI or something, I want a nice challenging game.

You mean you want a challenging community.

Anyways, it's hard to tell if you were fighting AI or not. Typically AI have a ping of 0 and a sim speed of 0, so check next game. There are a lot of new players, so I'm not surprised you are doing well if you've played DoTA. Still, there are plenty from DoTA who will put up a good challenge. Give the game time though, no one was pro at dota the first month it came out.

If you want to see if you're against players or ai - i am guessing in this instances you're mostly against ai as whenever i launch skirmish or pantheon it's usually mostly vs ai - press the scores button at top of screen. Those player names with pings beside them are players, those with 0's are ai.

Cool, that's even easier than just playing single player and memorizing all the bad AI behaviors so you can exploit them and kick their butts.

Dammit, I thought I was just hella good cause I practiced in single player. That explains why I've been kicking so much ass in Pantheon.  :borg:

People with 0 ping are AI.

if someone has 0 ping, and is not you, then it's usually an ai
