Problems with buggy healing w/ Sedna.(multiplayer)

I tried searching the forums to no avail.  Playing multiplayer I can't seem to heal teammates.  I can get one heal off then it just fails.   The cooldown is up, and I have them targeted: the heal tries to complete but nothing happens.  I try it over and over and it fails every time.  Does anyone else have this problem?  Am I missing something simple?
