Activation problem

Invalid key or e-mail address error

I've been trying to get WB to work on my Server 2003 install (using it as a workstation on my laptop, and it's a legitimate key) but for a reason I can't understand it's telling me that I'm using an invalid key or e-mail address.  I could understand if I'd maybe made a mistake entering the details but before I even went to install it I used the account retrieval link to make sure it was what I thought it was.  Is there some other issue that might cause this?  I've sent an e-mail in to support but I don't know what time they start and thought someone on the forums might know.

If you're copy/pasting the key, make sure there are no blank spaces at the beginning or end after pasting.

I'm always careful with things like that but I did have a space at the end of my e-mail address somehow.  Sadly it made no difference and I'm still being told, by Impulse, that my e-mail address or serial are invalid.

Remove Impulse and try Stardock Central.

I checked around and it looks like Server 2003 is not a supported OS LINK

That includes Object Desktop as well. Check on the Products Page for the item(s) you purchased. Each item has a section for "System Requirements"

Edit: Windowblinds is supported on Server 2003 so if SDC works you should be good to go. If not email support and they'll fix you up.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I tried uninstalling Impulse and using SDC which downloaded and installed happily but when I tried to register WindowsBlinds it specifically told me that my e-mail address wasn't correct.  I have changed the e-mail address from the original one used but that was done via support and the one listed in the retrieval e-mail is the new one.  I've tried both now to make sure but they both give me the same result - wrong e-mail address.  I'll have to wait for support to get back to me again, they did once but only to suggest using Impulse.
