Bizarre pathing

Running from the beast

Wayyyy more often than I'd like, when I'm hammering away on a demigod with the unclean beast I often have to manually click ahead of the demigod I'm attacking if they run or else my beast just stands there like a stump unable to do jack all...

Ugh, yes the pathing is pretty much horrible and especially as a general its even worse.

Fog of war seems to often quit your demigod or minions to pursue a target you gave them. Making you FORCED to click constantly into fog of war in an attempt to move them as they simple stop moving the second an intended target disappears into fog of war. This is especially evident when an enemy is fleeing and thus soon disappearing into fog of war and making your demigod/minions just stop moving and admire the day as afterall they have not been issued ANY orders, theyre just chilling and disobey your orders.

This makes the moving/ordering feel tedious and feeling like you need to just click ten thousand times when chasing/running after enemies and it is really... bad.

well this is not a bug or nothing, it is unfair that minions should pursue someone when they are in fog of war and should otherwise not been seen. so i see no prob with that issue.

i do know what the op is talking about though when i play the VP and sometimes they start to run, and still in my sight, but he just stands there, not stunned or frozen or anything but i have to click for him to move then click target again , some times to cast bite i must click to move first otherwise he just simply wont cast it

Same exact thing happens to me Haunter, Unclean Beast and everything.

It's cost me more than just a few kills too... x_x

Hmm, it could be that how to put it. As with Erebus if im using just the vampy bite attack, its bit random how it works. Sometimes when I activate it on a running enemy he simply dosnt execute the command at all. It could be that when I uhh... 'activate' the command for him to attack the enemy was in range, but as game perhaps lags a bit or enemy is moving. He simply oversteps the powers range and suddenly the command is invalid and cancelled.

So I need to use it again, but its somewhat related to whole fog of war problem? When something exceeds your charachters either power or visions reach he simply quits doing anything.

Its not that I personally mind the fog of war or think my minions should be able to autoseek and kill a completely fog covered enemy. Its more like, uhh they dont work as 'intended' If I ask them to attack person on corner of fog of war and my minions aint there allready. Instead of at least moving to the spot I asked them to attack they dont. They stop moving and doing anything, ignoring attack order. It forces generals or even players to just click abilities or commands over and over as on such edges of fog or perhaps range things just start to fail like that.
