App is using ports other than 6073, 6100-6200 ?

I noticed while in the lobby for a custom game that I had connections to other players on ports other than the ones we've been told to use.  I'm wondering if this explains why I wasn't able to connect to games even when I had enabled 6073 and 6100-6200 for port forwarding.  I have had to disable my routers firewall to get games to work as a result.

I noticed this and wonder if my ports were even F-ed-up?!?!  Going to change back and hope SD fixes this in a day or two. Till then playing the AI is sufficient enough!!! Awesome job on that team!

Did you set it to use a certain set of ports with the ImpulseReactorOptions tool?

I used the impulse reactor options tool to set the ports and the game still uses ports from all over outside that range seemingly at random.

I stand corrected, I ran the impulsereactoroptions.exe and checked the box to specify 6112 - 6132 and now all my udp connections are on those ports.

 

So, I'm port forwarding 6073, 6112-6132 and having no problems with my firewall up on my router.
