Connection Problem

Don't become DoWII please :(

One of the main problems around Dawn of War 2 at the moment is a case of extreme upload saturation, which causes unplayable latencies (of the 2000+ variety) which then results in players being kicked. Dawn of War 2 uses a p2p system.

I've played a few games of Demigod now (from the literally hundreds of attempts) and most have worked fine -however- i've recently checked over my logs for a few new games i've tried, and found this happening as soon as the game commences...

This is a log from when the game started, as you can see, a perfectly fine connection suddenly gets raped to high hell and back by extreme uploading (bandwidth monitor reported the highest spike as 38KB/s) which resulted in a disconnect...at which point it went back to perfectly normal.

I'm hoping your dedication will find a solution for this, as i've no doubt (as with DoW) many others will probably soon be suffering the same, even if they arn't aware of it.

This is really interesting.  What program is that you're using?

This is ping plotter, a very nifty tool for monitoring hops/pings/packet loss to various addresses.

My previous guestimate on upload usage was incorrect. The actual total used is 57+KB/s, an insane amount by any standards. Its the exact same error DoW is having (see... http://community.dawnofwar2.com/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=12341 ).

Just to assure you i'm not making this up, here is a screen of bandwidth monitor during one of these issues...

Perhaps its related to this IP issue we Europeans have (as it seems predominately to affect us in DoW2 at least), i'm hoping you soldiers will have a solution. I've wasted $40 on DoW2 already, don't want to make it $80 on two games. :(

Shifted this over to Tech Support at XSive's request.
