Bug with generals?

I had some lower tier minions summoned, and then I sold that emblem or whatever that item is called, and purchased a higher tier emblem. Then, I summoned the higher tier minions, but my lower tier ones still remained on the field.

Is this a bug, or a little trick that is perfectly fine? See, I don't want to abuse this if I know it's a bug.

It's a bug but when you consider you try to kill the general first anyways it doesn't really matter.

Well, if you say so. (2x3)x3=18 minions plus the 4 yetis on Sedna and her heals and healing aura doesn't seem to me like a "really doesn't matter" issue.

It should be fixed, but overall it's not a big deal. Those low end minions are awfully weak and an AOE will probably wipe out all of the General's minions.
