Terrible setup. Can't log into multiplayer

I've wasted about 45 min now trying to play a multiplayer game.  I can't log into demigod despite playing through the beta with the same account password.  If I say forgot password it minimizes and brings up Impulse (which I'm already logged into with the same username/password).  If I say create new account it does the same thing. 

When I try to log in i just get invalid name/password.  This is really stupid and frustrating and of course stardock has no tech support.  Why can't they just be smart and use steam.


We can't even use hamachi and do a lan game i can't see his games and when I ry to create a game it just says connecting to lobby for 10 min and i have to alt F4 to get out.

There's a thread on the demigodthegame forums saying you have to  merge accounts.  Clearly that makes sense as I can log into impulse and see all games form all accounts working perfectly so it would make sense that i would have to do something else.  not to mention maybe if the FAQ didn't consist of 2 worthless topics.

Try merging your accounts together.  Now that i'm in the game it hangs up and lags trying to load games connect screens logging in.  its pathetically terribly bad.  I have a computer that basically tops out crysis at near full settings on 1920x1200 and I can't even get menu's to work smoothly.  Awesome coding guys.
