Hosting a Custom Game

Hey guys, can anyone tell me if there's anything I need to do to my router or computer in order to host a game? I haven't tried hosting yet but id really like to. Im not every router savy so if someone could kinda give me the 101 id be appreciative!!

You should not need to do anything unless you're already having problems. Your best bet just to see is to try a 1v1 with someone who knows they can host/join already, to see if your setup can work right off the bat. If you can, then you should be able to host/join and the main issue would be other people joining who cannot connect due to extra-strict routers, etc.
