Have to deactivate the "X-FI Titanium" to get Demigod running for longer

Hi Guys!

My System:

System: Windows Vista X64

CPU: Athlon X2 6000+

Graphics: Ati HD4850

RAM: 4GB

Sound Creative X-Fi Titanium

Motherboard: Nforce570SLi

I always had freezes with an error message in the background, which i couldnt see.

i had to press the "enter" key and i were back at my Desktop.

so i tried to deactivate my Soundcard in the Windows Hardwaremanager and with no sound it runs without any problem

i hope its a problem of the Mainboard/Soundcard combination, i'll get a new Motherboard the next days...

Are there any other X-Fi Titanium users out there with the same problem?

I don't get the exact same problem, but I get crackling, distorted sound after a short while. I also have Vista 64 bit and X-Fi Titanium...

X-Fi and Vista 64 bit too. Very scratchy sound. Other threads on this problem suggest setting your sound card from 5.1 or 7.1 or whatever down to stereo as a fix.
