Menu Gets Worse and Worse as Day Goes On...

What is up with the hanging menu... It gets worse and worse til eventually you can't sit through the 3 minutes before the next selection screen.

Game runs perfect when I play early in the morning, yet as we approach noon, the menu's hang, clicking through the video intro puts you at a 3mn freeze, alt-tabbing then gives you a fatal error then.

Is your guys menu connected to impulse or something... Why does it slow down the more people online? Heck it's even doing that for the SP menus?

It's not on my end as everything works fine early in the morning, including the connection for Pantheon, yet as the day goes on I get menu hangs that basically have me just ctrl-alt-del and give up.


What is going on? I mean if the MP isn't working thats fine I can play SP, but with these menu hang ups, I can't even play SP...

 

Edit... Yep, it's unplayable, in the sense I can't play it. Clicking through the intro movie just sits there and I'm not gonna sit through 5 mns of each menu selection. What are they tied to? I mean this doesn't happen in the morning, and this happened yesterday at about 2pm today about noon.

There is a check for updates at startup. We're working to resolve the server load issues so this won't be a problem.

It gets worst and worst because there's more and more people.  Their servers can't handle it.

There will be even more people every day as more people are just buying the game this week.  Wait till this weekend, it'll be 3 times the load.

Pretty amazing if it should be the server load, as there are currently only aprox 500 people online (Both in the lobbies and inside games).

I Cant imagine that the servers can only hold 300-400 people before acting crazy. If this is the problem however, im not looking forward to 2-5 thousand players.
