Purchasing via Impulse

I purchased Demigod as a digital download via Impulse.  I used a credit card as I always do with my Impulse purchases.  With every other purchase made before, the game begins downloading immediately throught impulse.  This time, however, it gave me an order number (no a serial number) and said my serial number and download information would be emailed to me shortly.  The email address was correct.  I never received an email.  My impulse account has no record of the purchase having been made.  I emailed stardock and got the standard "your ticket is in the queue" email in response telling me it could take two days....seriously?

 

I actually purchased it digitally so I wouldn't have to go to the store.  Is there anything I can do, or something I have overlooked?  Has this been an issue for anyone else?  Why couldn't I begin download from impulse?

For whatever it's worth, I'm having the same exact problem.  Ordered it hours ago but haven't received anything via e-mail.

Click on teh ? in the upper left and use the option to have your serials sent to you.  Click on the ? again to register the game using the serial in the email you will get.

All should be well then.

Unfortunately, having tried that, I get serial numbers for all my purchased games sent to me (GalCiv II, Sins) but no Demigod.  I guess I will just have to wait several days to get this sorted out unfortunately.  I completely understand the hectic nature of a release day, but I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed in this process.

 

I could certainly purchase it again, lol, but I'm not interested in a double charge appearing.  There should be some kind of purchase history inside Impulse itself.  Without the email, I have no verification of ever having made the transaction.  I do not understand why the download wasn't immediate (as it is for every digital purchase I have ever made with any company).  Perhaps there is a lag for my CC info to be approved? 

Regardless, this is frustrating as I should have just hopped into my car and stopped by the local Best Buy :(

I also purchased this online on the 14th and did not receive an email with the key. Zubaz are you suggesting to email sales@stardock.com again? Because the OP says that he already emailed them and they just told him to wait.

If it help I did notice that when I made the purchase with my CreditCard it took a long to verify/show the Purchased Receipt.

Well it sounds like a number of people have paid for the game and receieved nothing in return.  I did email sales@stardock.com but received an automated reply telling me I could have to wait two days.  Hopefully, mods, now seeing that several customers have paid for a game they did not receive, perhaps the email replies could be expedited?

 

Edit:  Realization of the time, lol.  I'll give it the benefit of the doubt as assuredly everyone is getting some well deserved sleep after a busy launch day.  I'm sure this will get squared away for everyone involved near the beginning of the buisiness day tomorrow.  Night!

Within one hour of Stardock's offices opening they sent me a brand new serial number and my account has been updated.  The game is downloading as we speak.  Thank you for the excellent service Stardock, you have once again earned my business.

Lucky for you I guess, I had the same problem, sent an email, but I am still waiting to hear back from Stardock. All well as long as it gets worked out, I'm not going to get upset about it. I've got other things I probably need to do tonight besides play a game anyway....of course I wouldn't complain if Demigod "runied" my plans.

I vote for Impulse based automated order history \o/ . If you purchase a game, preorder or whatsoever, game should list in Impulse (maybe new tab like "Pending Orders" with statuses like "New Order" "Pending Payment" "Pre-order" "Completed" and maybe showing invoice. I'd never count on emails, some ppl don't get em for various reasons, malware, filter, dead host/domain, little sister and list goes on *_* . I preordered like 3 weeks ago and wasn't sure if my order get through since this monday  :hugme: . Because I didn't receive 3 emails from other companies I bought apps from. Nor I received my order from stardock. Still not sure where those mails ended  :cylon: .
