You will need to make another account for the second copy.

I guess you mean to play online?  If he's just going to be playing SP or LAN against you, you don't need a second copy.  You can install one copy on more than 1 computer.

Nah, want to play Pantheon and Custom against others, plus can't have both of us use the same copy at the same time.  I don't think... not ethical, anyway.

Yes, you'd need a second account to play both online at once.

I have the same ordeal, my wife wants to play with me, I realize that you can use a single disk to load the game on more then one computer. But do you need more then one serial number for two accounts, like is it a game-wide serial number or does the serial number generate for every copy of the game.

Ugh, I purchased a second copy, and through all the confusion (yes, I'm not too bright but I do hold a degree and have been gainfully employed in IT for nearly 20 years).  Now I own two copies under the same Impulse account.  I can't transfer the second, I can't un-register it, etc.

I did not try to do it this way.  During the purchasing prcoess, I did use a second email account!  But I guess I did it wrong.

Frankly, in hindsight, I may have made a mistake.  But it should NOT be this hard to spend more money on Stardock games.

Make the new account and contact sales@stardock.com about the mixup, they'll fix you up.
