AI difficuluty?

So I've been messing around with playing against AI with a couple of friends on LAN, and we've gradually made our way up to Nightmare bots, as the other difficulties are kinda easy.

We just played a 5v5, us five vs five nightmare bots, and holy crap! We were stomped into the ground. So I just wanted to know, is there a handicap the nightmare bots get, like do they get extra damage/hp/gold/armor/whatever, or are they just the supreme lords of itemization?

They get lots of gold.

Regulus with 4k HP at level 10, Rooks moving faster than light, it's madness.

I guess that makes sense.

We're getting solo'd by a Regulus who takes no damage...as in a Last Standed Oak who has like a 720-815 attack range with crit from the Apoc sword hitting him for 230
