Screenshots...where?

Looked everywhere, and i can't find them

I'm running Vista Home Premium 64 bit.

Day to day stuff is done on the (administrator level) account "baka kenny".

I read up online about where the screenshots are supposed to be, but they're not there.

I start the game up via the shortcut on my desktop, which points to (right clicking the shortcut gives the following info):

Target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Sins of a Solar Empire.exe"

Start In: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\"

Nothing here:   C:\Users\Baka Kenny\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire

There is no "screenshots" folder there.

Nothing in My Documents, either.

Nothing on the drive root (C:\)...sometimes programs like to stash stuff thar.

So, any help?  Played my first game today against the AI (8 friggin hours, holy cow), but MAN WAS IT THE MOST EPIC THING I'VE EVER DONE IN AN RTS!

I just need to learn "Just because you paid the pirates to go harass the other guy, doesn't mean that they aren't going to tear you a new one whe you try to waltz on past their planet to lay down the hurt on the other guy".

hard lesson, it was.  An entire 100 ship fleet or so.  Toasted.  By pirates.  Shoulda hired ninjas to take care of them, but i digress...

Bump for top-page justice?

Anyone else got any ideas where these screenshots would be?

I believe you have to take a screenshot first

Haha Mooster!

Thanks for the reply, but i have taken at least around 30 or so screenshots (first game ran just under 8 hours, and the game is very stunning so...heheh, every new craft/planet i ran into had it's picture taken).

I just can't find the folder where they're saved to.

I hit Print Screen, and the game lags up for just a sec while it takes the picture, and then thats it.

Did it say the path of the screen shot?

Nope, there was no message for it.

Just the normal "fps drop due to in-game screenshot", but no visual confirmation in game to whether or not i actually took it.

Well i just managed to take one screenshot that actually worked.

I was looking in the keybinds to see maybe if it wasn't bound, and i noticed that CTRL + SHIFT + TAB will go to windowed mode, so i could just sit there mashing the button until i see a picture.

Anyhow, i got a screenshot, but it ONLY takes them in windowed mode.  The game resolution matches my desktop resolution, so even if it were "screen size too large" error of some sort, they match >.>

Screenshots were located here:

C:\Users\Baka Kenny\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\ScreenShot

Here's the screenshot of the keybindings screen.  Sucky thing is, whenever i try to bind print screen key to the actual button in game, it just takes a picture and doesn't bind it...was thinking that perhaps it needed to have the key re-mapped?

Just not sure why i can't take one in the game, full screen :(  It would be awesome if some Stardock support were here also.

Well nevermined, i bound screenshots to CTRL + SHIFT + S seeing as how i hit CTRL + SHIFT + Z to remove the HUD for the screenshot.  This ended up working fine.

It must have been a mix up between the game and the OS about who got to play with the button first :)
