[HUGE BUG] Pathing issues for Unclean Beast (Impressions and Suggestions)

The unclean beast cannot attack towers on the map that's out in space with the two snakes.  Most of the towers near the enemy base, I'm talking about the coils that form a sort of cross roads -- the Unclean beast cannot attack them, he jitters around in circles.  In order to attack the towers, I must click madly to reposition him and attacking the other way.  This is extremely frustrating because you would think that he could attack the tower the direction that he is attacking.

Also -- in general, if the Unclean Beast is in the base buying Artifacts, etc, and you click somewhere else on the map to have him "walk" there, he just jitters around.

My last game was a 2 hour long battle on that map, with the unclean beast, and it was getting ridiculous that nothing could beat the enemy heroes who had gotten SO strong it was unbelievable.  Most of it was the fact that the enemy moved so quickly, and my beast kept getting caught in those jittery paths unable to catch up and get the final KO.

Please look into the pathing on this hero -- I don't even want to play him anymore becuase of how slow he is, and when he gets caught in the issue, he's too darn slow to EVER catch up and get a kill.

That 2 hour long  battle was a bit ridiculous.  I'm not having a pleasant first day of playing this.  I was in the beta in December and quit because of some odds and ends bugs.

And a suggestion :  Make it so we can visually SEE when we select our minions -- the little circle around their feet is barely enough in the heat of battle.  If we can just get a little icon by the hero or something, that'd be wonderfull.

Isn't that sort of the point of beta? To test the game? Help the developers iron out the bug kinks?

 

Had a few pathing issues also though, nothing like what you are saying just the occasional getting stuck or not moving til reposition... I'm sure it will get ironed out.

 

The minion selection yes is slightly confusing... The color circle is a very light sky blue and hard to see, and sometimes I don't know if it's my minions or my DG, I've died a few times trying to retreat my DG but he didn't move cause I didn't know I had my minions selected not him, when they were clumped. It's tough cause I like to play zoomed pretty far out.

No, I know, but I quit the beta thinking, hoping, that the whole UI would get redone that we could feel like we were more in control of our hero and minions.

It just seems really silly to me that we have entire hero classes called Generals whose sole purpose is to command these units -- as the commanding is their strength, yet it seems so weak.  I never know what I'm clicking on the battlefield.  And yeah, that battle lasted 2 hours long because he kept spazzing, and flashing walking forward, and turning around and walking the other way, jittering about.  I couldn't kill a single Demigod because the AI somehow learned where the pathing issues were at, and exploited them, and ran away.

Has the 0 day patch been released yet? I think its supposed to put the final pieces into place, but I think it releases tomorrow or something. I could be wrong, but am hopeful.

I have noticed this particular bug with the UCB, but I'm not much for winning or losing at this point. Just trying to learn how each DG plays and how the game in general functions.

Had the same issues at the middle of some large areas, clicked attack on a enemy DG and the beast would spin in circles on the spot.The torchbearer also has some issues chasing enemies after you give him a attack move.

And one thing I really hate in this game is how unbalanced the sides are even when it comes to AI, I tried the single player tournament and I won the first game quite easily. Then it started happening each game my teammates just died and died and after 10 minutes I had 0 chance of killing any enemy DG so I had to resort to guerrila tactics. In the end I won only the first game and lost 7 due to feeding from my AI teammates, I have a screenshot of my 800 vs 720 closest standings all my teammates were at the bottom far away from the other team. Considering I had over 4x the best of my own AI in points something is really fucked.
