I broke it...

Ok.. So I got Demigod and was all excited. So I ran it and cranked up the resolution. But me being the stupid person I am made it 1600 x 1200 with 100 refresh rate. And that is out of my monitors range. So now my monitor won't display the game and I can't find a safe mode or anything to run it in. I even tryed re-installing and it still won't let me change the video options. Could someone please help? Thanks.

Makue sure you go into my documents, or my games and delete the stargate directory manually after the uninstall. Should revert then.

Depending on your OS, there is a place where games are required to store their config / save files...   Vista would be:

C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Demigod -- delete this folder to make the files go away.  (EDit:  no guarantees this will work, but it should...  I'm still waiting on my download to finish)

This should work:

Go to your My Documents \ My Games \ Gas Powered Games \ Demigod directory and open the 'game.prefs' file in notepad. Scroll about 1/3 the way down till you find the options section and look for

primary_adapter = '1440,900,60', or whatever it says. Change that so the first number is the correct width, the second number is the correct height, and the third number is the correct refresh rate.

Is there anyway to uninstall without having to redownload the game?

Nevermind thank you very much for telling me how to change it. I knew there had to be a way to do it because I've done it to COD4 before to and I had to change a notepad file. Thank you! Now i can finally get to playing and enjoying this game!
