Question about the gamestop release

I had the day off from school today and while I was out, I stopped at a gamestop. When I saw Demigod, I thought that I had been mistaken about the release date, so I purchased it. When I got home, I checked the website and saw all the posts about the release date break. I was wondering is it allowed to install the game today? Will it work without issues etc?

It will work but you will need to get the pre-0-day update. Then it will be slow to do anything because the servers are bogged down.

But single player should work fine after the long delay when you first load up the game. 

If you wait until tomorrow, you'll be able to get the official 0-day update which will have access to private servers.
