The beta was 2 GB, i wonder what the other 6 will contain.

Its actually only 2.8, Idk why it says 8 gigs on impulse but its wrong.

It is 2.8GB, but...

The download is 1.8, this get decompressed/extraxcted to approxiamtely 2.8 then the 2.8 temp folder gets installed to a folder that is now 2.8. Add those together with the final game size 1.8+2.8+2.8 and you get ~8GB. They are just being on the safe side.
