Somebody please assist me, I'm about to shoot myself over this garbage...

Okay, so, I get the Collector's Edition of the game today because it looks sweet and I had a reserve of it, and I just get home to install it, and the installation literally takes 20 seconds flat. I'm already skeptical at this point, but I shrug it off and try to run it, then an error comes up saying 100 some lines of code are missing. Then I check the Demigod file in my harddrive and it's only 49 freaking meg big. I've tried reinstalling and uninstalling multiple times and it continues to install practically nothing to where I can't even run the game. If anyone has any idea why it would be doing this or what to do, I would very much appreciate it.

Maybe the collector edition disc are bad.  You should install impulse and register your game in Impulse with the cdkey.   Then you can download the whole game from Impulse, maybe that will help.

This forum kinda sucks, many people are double posting thinking the first one didn't go through, but it's like 1 minute behind.

You know that Gamestop is selling the game now, and the single-player is playable atleast now, right?

 

Overall, it sounds like you have a bad disc on your version that is resulting in an installation error.
