Having Issues Updating w/ Impulse

The update for Sins of a Solar Empire has finished.. but now it just says "Verifying.." under the status, and the game cannot be launched on the new version through impulse.

Are there any known causes/solutions to the problem?

There are two. Try running Impulse with Admin privileges and also disabling Antivirus. One of those fixes it.

Ha I should've thought about running it as an admin.
