I haven't played the beta in about 1.5 months. Dawn of war 2 has been sucking up all my video game time. Decided on this post after getting a friend invite from kestrel.
What's the current beta looking like?
When I pick it up later tonight or tomorrow what would you recommend I play first?
well the beta is over and comes out on the 14th, and idk exactly what u mean by play first so ill just run through a few diff, char id say go with your favorite play style, deffinintly help get used to the game. alot say Rook is most userfriendly though, as i find it to be aswell. umm if u mean the pantheon skirmish or custom id say custom or sp to learn before u dive into online play. but it is nice to talk to real people as u play 
so skirmish it up

You have two days til they disable beta to prep for launch. If your router allows you to finish games with people (which mine doesn't as of 3F) you should play some custom team games and see what you think.
Right now Erebus is underpowered, stunchains are still a problem, slows are imba, AI are bad (which means Pantheon is a grind), and they nerfed spirits and yetis pretty hard, but I'm having alot of fun with Oak and UB. The ranking system is cool and overall the game is more balanced since you last played.
I'm on the fence as to whether I'll play more until Release. We'll see. Welcome back tho
