mod won't show

So I've tried a couple different directories and the mods still won't show up in the options menu.

C:/Program Files/Stardock Games/Galactic Civilizations: Ultimate Edition/Twilight/Mods/[my mod]

C:/Program Files/Stardock Games/Galactic Civilizations: Ultimate Edition/Mods/[my mod]

neither one will show up... help? (v2.02 I think)

There was a bug in the mod picker that caused the list to not always appear--if you click in the blank box where the list should be, you should be able to pick one based on the description to the right until this is resolved.

ok I see it now. thanks bud.

EDIT: oh wait. another question, sorry. I bought the ultimate edition and I thought I had thrown away the serial number then later (after I had already installed the game) I found it on the back of the manual. However I haven't been able to find a way to put the serial number in and the applications SDActivate don't seem to be working...

I don't have to reinstall it do I?

You can register the serial via impulse. If you're having issues registering or activating though, your best bet is to contact support@stardock.com.

Have you started a new game (changes won't work if you load a save from before you made them) and cleared the custom race files from the game's folder under My Documents\My Games (those will override any data files/mods)?

nope... didn't load it... from a previously saved game...

and I don't see a custom race files in - mydocuments/my games

although in the My Games folder there are two folders related to GC2. one is names GalCiv2 the other is GC2TwilightArnor... no custom race file in either.

Ok, I got something to work... \o/   apparently you don't need to put things in an 'English' file in the mod folders, odd, I used to do that before and it worked, but I was using the original GC2:Dread Lords not Ultimate Edition that I'm using now.o_O

Thanks for the help Kryo.k1
