Questions

(I'm not in beta, I need answers :D)

Hello, this game looks very promising from the video I saw on youtube and I had a few questions.

1) Is there Singleplayer in this game? If so, can you make it 2v2, or 3v3?

2) Is this game "newb' friendly?

3) Is there a campaign of some sort?

4) What are the system requirements?

5) In the movie I saw they said that you receive a "debuff," when you die, could you please explain this?

Thanks!

1. Yes.  There is both a single player skirmish as well as a single player tournament against AI players.

2. I'm not the right one to answer that one but I would say GPG has made Demigod more newbie friendly than any Stardock game made previously.

3. The single player tournament is like a campaign but it isn't really story driven since the story is so straight forward (win favor points to ascend to the pantheon of the gods).

4. You'll want to have a system with at least a gig of RAM and ideally a video card with 256MB on it or more.  For an ATI, the low end is an X1650.  On an nVidia I'd say a 6200 would be on the low end there.  My family plays it on systems that are a bit lower end than that but you have to turn down the settings.

5. Just means you lose all the spells cast on you that are making you stronger.

Hope that helps. Cheers!

1) You can set single player skirmishes to be anywhere from 1v1 to 5v5.

2) It is pretty easy to get used to, so I would say "yes."

3) Sort of.  Imagine a series of skirmish games in a variety of teams against a variety of opponents, where you use the same Demigod every time.  As you play, you win "favor points" that can be used to help your Demigod ascend.

End of Frogboy's quote

Thank you for the quick answers! I am wondering, could you "inspect" my computer to see if it could play?

I have an Pentium 4 CPU 2.40 GHz 2.39 GHz, 2.00 GB of ram, I have no idea how to figure out whether my video card is 256 MB or more, but I do know my video card is an Radeon 9200 Series. Thank you for all your help so far, I realy appreciate it!

Edit: Is it also possible to have battles like 2v1 or 3v2? Or do they have to be even teams like 1v1 2v2 and 3v3?
