How many kbs/megs does Demigod use during online play?

I hope I'm posting this in the correct place.  I'm somewhat interested in Demigod and may pre-order a collector's edition, however I have a limited internet connection.  I can only use (down AND upload) 5 gigs a month.  I'm curious to how much traffic this game would generate so I'd know if I could play it online or not without using up too much of my "gigs".  Thanks in advance!!

Playing games shouldn't bring you anywhere near that cap, even if you play 24/7.  That being said, I don't know the exact usage.

I don't know.  It seems I reach my limit within the next 15 or so days after my limit resets, which it resets every 14th each month.  I'm still curious to know if anyone does.  Thanks bunches!!!

Well, i haven't calculated the exact bandwith usage either, but i also highly doubt Demigod (or any game in fact) needs so much bandwith.
There are not so many informations to transfer.

There are programs you can download to track how much upload/download you have used.   Try running those while playing Demigod.

5GB = 5120MB
5120MB / 30 days = 170.7MB / day
7281KB / hour
121KB / minute
2KB / second

So I take what I said back, 24/7 you will run out since it likely uses more than 2KBps.  However, I find it hard to believe you are playing literaly 24/7, you have to at least sleep which means 16/7 which would mean 3KBps average.  I suppose it's possible to burn that if you have someone bringing you food/water and you play on the toilet. :D  But then there is the time between games as well...

Perhaps a better question is, how much do you play exactly?  Do you really spend every waking hour playing video games or do you have job or go to school as well?

yea you shouldn't have a problem as long as you don't spend use all ur bandwidth downloading crap or streaming movies online (which is why some places use a bandwidth limit i believe)

That's just my problem.  I don't ONLY play video games.  I surf the web, check my e-mail, look at some youtube vids (rarely), talk to peeps over forums and instant msgers etc etc.  No, I dun play on da toliet, and I wouldn't say I play 16/7 either.  I think most of my limit goes toward stuff I download.  Patches, mods, sometimes even full games (the f2p mmo type, not the torrent type ;p).  I'm gonna see if I still reach my limit even if I don't download anything besides patches.  I've also already preordered a collectors of Demigod anyhow so I guess I'll just deal with it if I play it on multiplayer.  I just wish I could get a better connection...or move somewhere that actually has cable access.  Thanks for reading!!

That's where your bandwidth is going.  One game is easily 2-4 GB to download which is most of your bandwidth.  These days I've seen patches for games as large as 1GB.

I'd go nuts if my internet were limited like that.
