problems with upgrading my windowblind from 6.3-6.4

Hi & help

The last time W.B. was updated to 6.3 this same issue happened
I updated from Major Geeks site and was told I has a 30 day shareware version (I lose my paid version) I spoke to a helpful techie who told me to DL'ed Stardock Central
      all worked out
this time I went to my Star. Central it showed the update to 6.4 but no matter what it would not download so I updated through the major Geeks 6.4 installer and once again it says I am NEW unregistered and only have 30 days shareware -any ideas

I wrote a ticket to stardock but I was hoping to get a faster responce here

You need to be using Impulse to download any and all Stardock software. Stardock Central will work too, but Impulse is the official download platform for all things Stardock.

I would get a hold of tech support about your paid version issue, then be sure that any downloads or updates are done through Impulse.

You can find Impulse here: http://www.impulsedriven.com/

Good advice. Even if your subscription is up, all you need do is let SD support know (include the email you ordered with) and they will supply you with a link to download the last version you were entitled to. I would use Revo uninstaller to remove all vestiges of the shareware version before downloading the last one you were entitled to.

I updated through the major Geeks 6.4 installer
End of quote

Major Geeks only has the trial version and the trial can't be registered to full

Keep in mind that trial versions of our software are not upgradable to the full versions by entering a product key, and they must be uninstalled and the PC rebooted before installing the full version of any app.  Here are the possible options:

1.) Go to https://www.stardock.com/support , enter your e-mail address to have your product info sent to you.

2.) If you have a Stardock.net account, visit the following site and click the link for the appropriate application/theme: https://www.wincustomize.com/myaccount.aspx?reg

3.)I would highly suggest using Impulse to download and install any of our applications. Impulse is our new product distribution platform that will be replacing Stardock Central. Impulse will give you the ability to resume downloads, as well as notify you when updates are available, and prompt to update.  Impulse will also automatically activate any of our products you install.

If you haven't already, create a Stardock.net account here: https://www.stardock.com/sdnet_login.asp .  This will be required to log into the Stardock server through Impulse. You may download Impulse here: http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe

Once you download and run the installer, you will be asked to log in with your Stardock.net account.  Once you do, and Impulse finishes any additional updates needed, you can now go under the appropriate tab in Impulse and select your product and click 'Install' to install it.

Impulse is the best way to go, as most things no longer have a direct download link.
