[Help] Error Message While Cursor Change

This is a problem which I have been recieving in the CursorFX control panel while trying to switch cursors. Every time I click on the apply buttom the first time a problem occurs. One of the following two things happen...

1> It says my applied theme is _(Whatever I had chosen)_ but my cursor changes back to windows defualt. It works when I try the seond time though.

2> It does the same as 1) but also say CursorFX has encountered a problem, it would like close (or something along those lines), but it never closes! I try again and it works fine this time.

If one of these things doesn't occur the program works perfectly well. I am using Windows XP; is there anything I can do you about it?

Error # 1 is a well known issue. The first click will load the preview amd the second one, the cursor.Occasionally it will apply on the first click but not often.

Error # 2 I have not seen with the latest version of CFX (2.01.014) but the previous version did give me trouble.

Are you running the latest version?

About the latest version, it says that I have version 2.01 in the about section. I'm not sure is this is the same as 2.01.014.

 Also I have friends who got a virus from flooding their CFX with more cursors from WinCustomize. Is this normal? I haven't got the problem but I don't have that many cursors.

There are no viruses in anything you will find at WinCustomize. I suspect what they did get was a bad cursor file. They have been known to cause CFX to freeze up or crash. The older ones in particular can be trouble.I avoid any before 2005 or so. If in doubt, always add one cursor at a time and try it out.That way if it is a bad one,you know which one to delete.
