Fleet flying off into space?

This happened a few times, i had a fleet and told them to fly through a wormhole. The other end was on the other end of the map, but instead of flying through the wormhole, my fleet tried to get there on sublight engines... luckily i caught them before they got too far away but damn....

also, i had a fleet going through two stars to line up for an attack, but when the majority of the fleet got to the second star, it started flying to planetary north (i.e. the top of the sun and beyond)

anyone know why?

the reforming fleet glitch again... that happened when jumping between planets, too.  some of the fleet would jump, the rest would try to reform on sub-light.

the way to avoid this: make sure all your fleet is close together before giving the jump order (not on the other side of the well)

Ya, I hate when shisp go up and down but you can't really blame them I mean they take the path of less resistance, going up and down, I think, is faster

And the strange things is if you have fighters and bombers in a star, they tend to go through the sun instead

End of Mooster's quote

yeah, funny that... and there are people in another thread saying that starbase weapons firing through a star would cause the game to crash.... =P

I've actually seen the strikecraft go up and over a star (I'm pretty sure - it was a while ago) I've always assumed that they always do this.  that or go under
