Future Demigods

I know that the first 2 additional Demigods will be free, but what about later Demigods? If there are more released, will they be free as well?

Thank you.

It will depends on Demigod sales.  If sales are high, then we'll get them for free.

Also if custom mods are added later, people can create their own demigods like dota.

I think they can release a few with patches, and then later on release an expansion which adds new demigods, maps, modes, story etc.

Weren't we promised a year of free updates?  I suppose it really depends on how well Demigod sells.

What happens after that year?

Like most pc games, an expansion pack after 1 year of release.

appart for some free demigods, i don't know what the devs have planned, but something similar to SupCom would be cool: 9 monthes - one year of free updates with some new stuff and then a big expansion pack that polishes the game and adds a lot of new things.
Forged Alliance was a really great expansion pack: new units; better graphics, better optimisation, a new, far better ballance of every unit...

I'd be willing to bet they'll take the route they did with sins, that is a 9-12 months of free updates, then they'll release mini-expansions.

Do you think the expansions will be standalone or will require the original to play?

As with Galactic Civilizations (Stardock), Sins of a Solar Empire (Iron Clad & Stardock) and Supreme Commander (GPG) they will must likely give all critical updates until the next expancion and some luxury and non critical updates, paying.

I hope they give must of the updates for free.

@Riskbreakerriot- Uh, I might be wrong but I dont think stardock has made standalone expansions before. It'd be nice if they changed for this game but I doubt they would.

Corrected For Truth

FA actually works worse on both my computers despite the fact they both run vanilla SupCom fine and the fact the minimum system requirements do not change between them
