Fences - no uninstall file

First, I'm sorry if this post is in the wrong place. I didn't see a subgroup for Fences.

I recently installed Fences on my XP and Vista machines, but ran into errors with them. It's excellent software, but it's still too buggy for my patience. I went to the program files folder where Fences installed itself, and have not found an uninstall file. How do I uninstall it, or prevent it from loading when my maching starts? There is no MSConfig entry for it, so it's not easy for me to figure out myself.

Updating to the latest release should give you the opportunity to uninstall.

You can also disable Fences by going into the config, then "Tools", then "More tools"

Simply hiding it doesn't seem quite like a removal... Thank you though, I now have my cluttered desktop back.

With Fences, it would crash when I deleted an icon not in a fence. Then DrWatson would spend a while trying to repair it, and load it back up with the icon still not grouped in a fence. I had a hard time trying to get past this little annoyance.

As a workaround, I put it in a fence before I delete it, or send it to a folder reserved for icons to be deleted.

As long as you are running Impulse for updates, you can also uninstall Fences through Impulse by simply right-clicking on the Fences icon under the My Desktop tab and selecting Uninstall.

There is one thing I never did try... it should have been so obvious

Control Panel -> Add or Remove programs

(dunno if the image made it through, but oh well)

From Drop Box

This seems like something anyone using a computer should know. When I was more actively downloading programs, I did use this tool a lot. No clue how I could have forgotten about it...

I didn't remove it after all. My computer's going through many problems, so I think the problem with Fences originates from an already existing issue, rather than a Fences flaw. Fences has been surprisingly stable, considering its shaky start only weeks back.

Thank you all for your help, I appreciate it.
