VOIP in Multiplayer?

Hey guys, sorry if this has been asked before. But will there be VOIP or any kind of voice chat in the final version of Demigod?

Seconded. Integrated VOIP is just such a boon in games like this.

Otherwise the gap between premade teams with vent/TS over casual pickup groups will be greater than it has to be.

That has always been my point.  Organized teams with vent or TS will roll any pickup team.  To me that seems the greatest hurdle to the sucess of this game, some teams will be so good they will make playing unfun to the majority of other players.

I would even say that with vent/TS even an average team will steamroll the majority of pickup groups, more often than not even when facing superior individual players.

As long as voicechat isn't integrated into the game it will become/remain an external (un-)balancing factor.

Even worse, it discourages/penalizes (again, even more than it needs to be) jumping into the game and making new acquaintances by playing.
