System Tray still doesn't work in OD plus

I haven't tried ObjectDock plus much since I bought it, because I need to see the System Tray but it doesn't work.

Vista Ultimate 32-bit.  I thought I'd install and update via Impulse today but nothing has changed.  When I create a Tabbed Dock with a System Tray Tab, the tab is always blank.

Also Google CHrome won't start from the dock.  Chrome is not installed under Program Files, but in the user's account.

Is there likely to be a fix, or have I just dome my money?

My Vista Ultimate 32 bit laptop runs OD+ seamlessly, tray and all. My 64-bit desktop, however, has no system tray.

Just a suggestion; try disabling your antivirus, then update through impulse again (if an update is available).

I don't use Chrome, so I don't know what to tell you there.

Ditto here on a HP PC.

I may be wrong here but shouldn't you be able to add a shortcut to the dock that points to the Chrome launcher?( I also don't use it,merely a suggestion)

I have Vista Ultimate 32bit running on Lenovo W500 laptop. The system tray seems to work.....well,...kind of....... that is until I ran my 16bit application.

OD Plus system tray seems to interfere with the NTVDM.exe protocol needed to run 16bit apps. I had to to a reformat twice, initially thinking it was a corupt vista component, but I took some time and installed one thing at a time and started to eliminate the sources and sure enough, once I added the system tray tab to OD, my NTVDM.exe crashes.

Odd thing is that I have this same set up on my desktop and all is running fine. The only difference is that the laptop is Lenovo and the desktop is a Dell Inspiron 530.

 

Does anyone have any ideas on what's going on?

How are you trying to launch Chrome? I opened the Start Menu->All Programs->Google Chrome folder and dragged the shortcut there to OD+ and it launches perfectly.

System Tray works fine in my Tabbed dock as well.

What version of OD+ are you running? I'm using 1.9 build 535u
