Fences disables Active Desktop (Embedded Webpages)?

I'm loving the Fences app but I'm running into a weird issue. It seems that Fences disables the web content from active desktop for some reason and the only way to get it back is to disable fences. Is there a way to work around this? The websites are intranet sites I use everyday so I can't give them up and would rather not give up the usefulness of fences.

Not at this time.  Active Desktop was discontinued after Windows XP and was never supported in XP64.

You might look at Ave's AveDesktopSites

I've spoken with the developer about this, and it appears Fences disables Active Desktop intentionally.  They are apparently incompatible and there are no plans to have Fences work with Active Desktop.

I don't need to have web pages on my desktop, but I did want a couple of the photos I had displayed.  Any suggestions on how to show a couple of images and use fences beside editing my wallpaper to permanantly add the pictures to the wallpaper?

If you have DesktopX you can use a picture frame widget to display your pictures.

If you ever upgrade to Vista or Windows 7, they have a photo gadget as one of the defaults :).
