Pointing impulse to existing game data?

Working with a new windows install.

I've reinstalled Windows, so I'm working with a fresh registry. Due to my hard drive setup all the Impulse/gaming programs are still intact. Is there any way to redirect Impulse to them? It'd save a good bit of time not having to download them again, when they're still on the drive.

Impulse doesn't seem to mind starting right up, though it did crash the first time around. It was probably cranky to have no registry entries or something like that. It can't seem to find the games that I already have on my hard drive, though.

my guess would be in the preferences install location, but I have not looked into it
