How do you play Galaxy Forge maps in Entrenchment? It doesn't show up in any list. It doesn't show up in the regular Sins map list either.

assuming you are useing galaxy forge 3 and not earlier versions of galaxy forge then you (at present) edit the galaxy.manifest file in the entrenchment folder and add you map/s to it and adjust the number at the top of the file to the number of maps listed in the galaxy.manifest

hope this helps

Thanks. I did that already though. I should have stated that in my original post. The map doesn't show up in the original game list either. I do have an older version of GF though. I just downloaded version 3, but it crashes on launch. Does it run on Vista OK?. I got it directly from the Sins web site...

gf3 is for sins 1.15/entrenchment 1.01.
if the map is in the correct location ie programs files galaxy folder and is not showing up in either sins or entrenchment and it is added to the entrenchments galaxy.manifest then the map logically should be an earlier version.

the quick way to check this is to open the galaxy in notepad & check that the version number is 3 if it is not then download & run the sins map updater on the download page or pm me for the latest version that updates galaxies in all working locations.

for gf3 not running several people have reported that dotnet v3.5 got them working. you could try windows update for this.

hope this helps
